Coming Into 2017.....
I'm so excited for 2017. I'm so over 2016. Isn't everyone?
The Virgo in me loves loves loves making lists. I used to make huge, long lists of resolutions. But let's be real, making a huge list of resolutions that probably won't make it till February won't make you feel good. Instead, this year I'm focusing on just FOUR goals for 2017.
- Keep getting comfortable being uncomfortable. This past year I pushed myself physically in ways I never thought possible. I ran crazy trail races. I ran two marathons less then two weeks apart. I ran 50 miles! `For 2017 I want to keep going. 100k or a 100 miler?
- Tune out. For 2017 I want to up my meditation practice. I've been consistent with around 10 minutes a day and have been reaping the rewards, but feel like I need to go deeper.
- Cook at home more. Between moving apartments, working, and training, I let cooking slide a little more then I wanted too. Thank goodness for Gardien and frozen broccoli! I recently just finished reading Eat With Intention and I can't wait to get back in the kitchen.
- Have more fun. And not in a "Let's get fucking wasted and go out 24/7" kind of way. Been there, done that. Not doing it again. This year I wanna travel. I want to take advantage of living in NYC. I want to make fun a priority. That also means making the best of a bad situation. Instead of getting grouchy about getting stuck in traffic, take it as a chance to listen to listen to a podcast or call someone (hands free though).
2017 is going to be a great year. I have so many exciting projects and content to share with you all I can't wait!
