How To Upgrade Your Bullet Proof Coffee


When making my Upgraded Bullet Proof Coffee this morning I immediately got Beyonce's "Upgrade U" stuck in my head. I may have started singing it. 


With the temperatures dropping (it was 45 this morning) I've made the switch back to Bullet Proof Coffee in the morning. I forgot how much I loved it. I'm not a big fan of hot coffee in the summer time so when it gets hot out I switch to cold brew.

So this week I dug out the French Press and started making some Bullet Proof.  I've been playing around with the recipe a little, putting some new things in it to make it that much more amazing. 


Here's what I've been doing:

Instead of Coconut oil I've been putting either Coconut Butter or Cacao Butter.

Adding a teaspoon of Ashwagndha, Chaga, or Moon Juice's Power Dust. (Power Dust is my new obsession. I put it in EVERYTHING).


Sprinkling in some cinnamon or pumpkin spice. Kinda like a Pumpkin Spice Latte but way healthier and not filled with weird chemicals.

Adding a splash of almond milk or homemade coconut milk.

Putting a few tablespoons of vanilla protein powder in it. (I like doing this if I'm drinking this before I'm going on a longish run, it makes it like a smoothie)
