My New Go To Smoothie

Hey guys!

So lately I've been way into adding some good fat in my morning smoothies. I've been finding that it keeps me fuller longer. It also helps slow the sugars entering the blood stream so you don't get a crazy sugar spike after a smoothie. I just finished reading  Fat For Fuel by Dr. Joseph Mercola and it's definitely made me take a look about my usual breakfasts. Don't worry, I'm not going zero carbs and I love my bananas still but I am interested in changing some things around. I still believe that the best diet is eating WHOLE FOODS, preferably plant based.

Anyways, I've been making this smoothie the past couple days and I love it. I'm especially into cinnamon my smoothies and coffee. When we were in Rincon, PR, they put cinnamon in everything. Cinnamon is so good for you and helps balance your blood sugar.

I topped mine with some Purely Elizabeth Granola but this smoothie is so substantial on its own you really don't need to top it with anything. 

I drank one of these at 8am and it's almost noon now and I'm still feeling full!
