MY VEGAN ESSENTIALS FROM TRADER JOE'S
What was life before Trader Joe’s? I honestly can’t remember. Most of my groceries are from TJ’s because their products are inexpensive af, healthy (for the most part), and things that you can’t get anywhere else (There can only be one EBTB seasoning). I’m lucky that I live so close to a Trader Joe’s (actually there are two by me!) that I end up going here every other day.
So here’s what I stock up on
Cauliflower Stir Fry
Cauliflower Pizza Crust
Ginger Cubes (these are great to keep on hand for stir frys or any other cooking)
Strawberry Mochi (super dangerous and never lasts long in the house)
Dr. Pragger California Burgers
Cauliflower Rice bowls (good for lunch when I don’t have time to meal prep)
Baby Bella Mushrooms
Peppers (red, green, yellow)
Bag of Sweet Potatoes
Bag of Russet Potatoes
Seasonal Citrus (mandarins, blood oranges, etc)
Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
Minced garlic in a jar
Coconut milk (always full fat)
Assorted dry fruit (mango and persimmon)
Gluten Free Flour
Trail Nuggets PRO (peanut butter)
Organic unsalted peanut butter
Gluten Free Crisp Bread
Coconut Aminos (like soy sauce but better)
Miyokos Un-Lox Cream Cheese
Organic Firm Tofu
Cold Brew Coffee
Sparking Yuzu Coconut Water
Assorted sparkling water
There you have it! I also tend to leave with a plant (or two). I just got Christian a Snake Tongue plant in a cute ceramic plant for only like $8.
Also I just saw that Trader Joe’s is going to be ending packing all of their produce in plastic. They already stopped carrying plastic bags which is awesome. I’ll be honest I forget my reusable bags a fair amount of the time so I have a nice collection of reusable bags at my house. Whatever, they’re cute and only $1.
Happy Shopping bbs! Let me know in the comments what some of your favorite Trader Joe’s finds are.
